Frequently Asked Questions

Because TEZSPIRE requires special handling and refrigeration, it is usually filled through a specialty pharmacy. That pharmacy will work with your doctor’s office, your insurance company, and you to make sure the medication is shipped safely and on time.

The specialty pharmacy needs to speak with you to confirm important details before they can ship your medication. This includes your insurance information, delivery address, payment details, and co-pay information (if applicable). It’s a required step to make sure everything is accurate and that your TEZSPIRE gets to the right place on time.

If they can't reach you, your medication may be delayed. Specialty pharmacies usually call from an 800 or 888 number, so be on the lookout.

To enroll, please go to TEZSPIRE Together and click on the “Enroll Now” button. You can also enroll over the phone. Please call TEZSPIRE Together at 1-800-818-1770.

You must be commercially insured, and your health plan must provide coverage for your TEZSPIRE prescription. You must agree to the TEZSPIRE Together Co-pay Program Terms and Conditions, be a resident of the United States or its territories, and agree to the Patient Authorization and all applicable patient consents. You must continue to meet the Program’s eligibility requirements to keep receiving program benefits. You can click to see the full Terms and Conditions of the TEZSPIRE Together Co-pay Program.*

Give your doctor’s office a call before your injection appointment to confirm they received your medication and have it ready for you. When you arrive, your provider will administer your first treatment dose. From there, you’ll receive TEZSPIRE one appointment and one injection at a time.

Watch the demonstration video for a brief introduction on using the TEZSPIRE Pre-filled Pen. It’s important to also review the Instructions for Use, which cover everything you will need to know about self-injecting.

The timing can vary, but many patients may get their first dose within a few weeks after their prescription is submitted. Before your injection can happen, a few steps need to be completed, like verifying insurance, checking eligibility for savings programs, and (if needed) coordinating delivery through a specialty pharmacy.

If it’s about your health, symptoms, or how TEZSPIRE is working for you, your doctor or care team is the best place to start. If you are experiencing any side effects, please call your healthcare provider or the manufacturer’s medical information line at 1-800-236-9933.
