In response to triggers, such as viruses, allergens, and environmental pollutants, your body releases a protein called thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP).
![]()
As TSLP builds up, it creates a chain reaction of inflammation that can trigger symptoms caused by nasal polyps.

TEZSPIRE is the first and only biologic that targets TSLP, a key source of inflammation, helping to stop the chain reaction that can lead to the symptoms caused by nasal polyps.
The mechanism of action for TEZSPIRE in the treatment of nasal polyps and asthma is not fully understood.
In a one-year clinical trial, TEZSPIRE was proven to help:
TEZSPIRE provides congestion relief that lasts. TEZSPIRE patients experienced a 68% improvement in nasal congestion score.
On average, after 1 year, people taking TEZSPIRE had a reduction in their nasal congestion score by 1.76 vs 0.81 in people taking a placebo (difference in 0.95 points between TEZSPIRE and placebo groups. Starting score in TEZSPIRE patients was 2.59 vs 2.55 in placebo).
TEZSPIRE can reduce the size of nasal polyps.
In a clinical study, the proportion of patients needing nasal polyp surgery and/or systemic corticosteroids was 5.7% in the group taking TEZSPIRE and 30.6% in the group who didn’t take TEZSPIRE.
TEZSPIRE significantly improved loss of smell for some patients.
Individual results may vary.
The SNOT-22 Questionnaire measures the impact of nasal polyps on factors that could impact you, such as loss of sense of smell, waking up at night, and decreased productivity.
The study was not designed to measure the impact of treatment on individual categories, so improvement in the total score doesn’t necessarily reflect a positive effect on specific items.
Before you see your doctor, it’s helpful to consider a few questions about your nasal polyps to see if TEZSPIRE could be right for you.
